JUKI Introduces the AC-172N-1790 Computer Controlled Buttonhole Indexer

The Juki AC-172N-1790 is a high speed, computer-controlled, buttonhole indexer equipped with the LBH-1790 sewing head and a preset mechanism that greatly increases productivity. The Juki preset mechanism allows the operator to place the subsequent garment piece on the preset board while the sewing machine is still engaged in the sewing of the current garment piece. Consequently, the operator can now use their waiting time effectively during operation to achieve increased productivity. In addition, sewing of vertical strip patterns has been improved.

A sub-clamp device prevents slipping of the material to ensure accurate and consistent buttonhole quality. The stepping motor controls material feed amount in increments of 0.1mm to provide smooth, accurate feed. The machine is able to sew 1 to 20 buttonholes and stores 20 different stitching patterns in memory. A space saving stacking device and labor saving knee switch are provided as standard features.

JUKI Introduces the AB-1351 Single Needle Automatic Belt Loop Attaching Machine

The Juki AB-1351 is the world’s first belt-loop attaching machine with the ability to sew seven different sewing patterns. The belt loop sewing shape and sewing size can be easily changed at the operation panel. The unit not only reduces the time required for the belt loop attaching process, but also eliminates the belt loop cutting process previously necessary. Productivity can be dramatically increased when one operator operates two units. Juki’s unique belt loop feeding and folding mechanism helps produce beautifully attached, consistent quality belt loops, with constant sewing dimensions, for casual and dress slacks.

JUKI Introduces the MF-3620-U30B 4-Needle, Feed-Off-The-Arm,
Flatseaming, Top and Bottom Cover Stitch Machine

The MF-3620/U300B is a multipurpose top and bottom cover stitch machine that is now available with a direct drive servo motor. This unit consumes approximately half the power of the conventional clutch motor models. The mounting base for the direct-drive type head is provided as standard with a hand pulley.

This model is provided with one-side or both sides trimming for joining the inseams of men’s briefs and ladies shorts, as well as side seaming swimsuits, knit shirts and t-shirts. This is accomplished with a one-side and both sides trim presser foot, an edge guide and lap former.

A new lubrication system prevents oil leakage throughout the machine and damage by the feed dog is greatly reduced. A micro-lifter is supplied as standard which allows elastic and delicate materials to be sewn with the presser foot in the slightly raised position, which reduces the slipping of material and fabric damage.
